2017 saw Luna Abrasivi renew its position as leader and icon of excellence in the most innovative large tile production plants
thanks to a range of high quality tools that guarantee perfect slab flatness, maximum surface homogeneity, polish
transparency and excellent performance. An essential combination in achieving the most cutting edge stylistic trends in the
ceramics field.
A variety of factors have allowed Luna Abrasivi to achieve such great success.
Firstly, continual testing on the range of different materials produced by the main glaze and grit manufacturers in the world,
as well as nurturing a spirit of cooperation among companies along the complete supply chain, all of which guarantee the
successful planning of all new ceramic products whilst considerably reducing setup times.
A second winning factor can be seen in the importance Luna Abrasivi places on training its highly qualified technical team, via
which Luna is proud to share Italian know-how and technology with the international ceramics industry. Luna Abrasivi’s
technical team assist and work alongside their customers during the setup of their production lines and plants as well as in
the fulfilment of subsequent projects in which expertise, perseverance and loyalty are ensured.
Lastly, but by no means least, another key to their success is the development of a supply and subsidiary network, led by the
Italian headquarters, taking the experience, professionality and quality of its brand directly to its valued customers
worldwide.
In addition to the Italian warehouse in Sassuolo, technical assistance is also provided in Russia, Poland and Spain which
dedicatedly follows a number of start-up large-slab lapping plants founded over the past couple of years. Two modern
branches, one in Brazil in the state of Espirito Santo and the other in the state of Gujarat, India, are now equipped to
assemble partially finished products made locally in Italy and will be further reinforced in 2018 with the installation of new
production machinery that will ensure local market demands are satisfied even more quickly.
