Cevisama 2017 expands its exhibition space after committing 85% of the planned surface in just one month

The organizing committee approves an increase in the promotional actions budget and in the buyers campaign with the objective of turning Cevisama into the “trade fair of design par excellence”

Cevisama’s organizing committee gathered at Feria Valencia in order to analyze the development of the show and the marketing data regarding next edition, due to take place from 20 to 24 February at the fairgrounds.  The balance confirms the good prospects.  Indeed, in a context in which we observe a clear recovery of the Spanish market, the companies are strongly committed to the fair.

At present, just over a month since the registration period started, Cevisama has committed 85% of its floor space (this percentage, in the case of some sectors such as that of ceramic tiles, is even higher and approaches 90%).

In this regard, as explained by Cevisama’s Director, Carmen Álvarez, the show is going to increase its foreseen surface area and is expectedto occupy the entire N2-P3 Hall.  “We think that we are going to completely fill a total of eight Halls, thus confirming the clearly upward trend that is being accentuated during the last editions” Álvarez states.

The director of the show has underlined that the businesses renewal rate –companies which were present last year and return in 2017- is close to last year’s figure and, in addition to this “the incorporation of new companies both in the tile producing sector with some remarkable cases such as Apavisa or Rocersa, as in the bathroom sector, with Royo Group as one of the main examples” is noteworthy. Furthermore, Álvarez also mentions that the organization expects to confirm shortly “the presence at Cevisama 2017 of key referents of the Italian tile sector”.

The guidelines of the Organizing Committee that has taken place today are in favor of a high value-adding product and attract more quality buyers, especially from the European and U.S.A. markets.  For achieving this, a further increase of the budget intended for marketing and promotional initiatives and for the buyer’s campaign has been approved.  Similarly, work is ongoing on new actions characterizing the visit to Cevisama of top-notch specifiers, among which, architects and interior designers of international renown who attract this group of professionals, both Spanish and from foreign markets.

“Increased demand, our commitment with innovative high value-added products and our promotional efforts are, no doubt, success factors for Cevisama 2017. Additionally, Feria Valencia will re-issue the See you in Valencia initiative, offering the professional visitor a unique showcase including ceramic tiles, kitchen and bath fittings, furniture, lighting and decoration, a very compelling proposal, specially for prescriptors and the contract channel” concludes the director.
