TECHNOLOGY BY LB FOR ANATOLIA, LEADING MULTINATIONAL COMPANY IN THE CERAMIC INDUSTRY

LB has supplied the multinational company Anatolia with a system for handling raw materials: a fully automated plant, with a loading capacity up to 400 tons per hour, after all production lines are in operation.

The customer needed to handle large quantities of raw materials without using loading shovels, thus avoiding human error on mixtures and storage, the main factor for accidents in a department – ​​storage of raw materials – still with a high density of manual work.

The solution implemented by LB allows to fully automate the entire line with an elaborate barcode detection system for all products.

The system is also able to warn of out-of-stock material, to provide for its re-supply and to calculate costs and consumption in real time, using the newest technologies available.

It is a latest generation supervision system.

The plant supplied in Turkiye by LB is one of the largest and most innovative ones worldwide, paying attention to the customer’s needs, allowing the production of glazed and technical porcelain slabs sized 800×1600 mm e 1600×3200 mm, starting production of approximately 10.000 m2/day, increasing to 32.000 m2/day in 2024.

The products are exported all over the world, mainly to the USA and Canada.

The plant will be ready to operate by the end of summer 2023.
