The historical company from Casalgrande as spokesman of a new way of viewing design offers innovative ceramics solutions at the International Exhibition in Bologna.

September 2016, Bologna. Everything is ready for Cersaie 2016, the International exhibition of ceramics for architecture and bathroom furnishings, which from 26 to 30 September will see planners, designers and industry professionals from around the world throng the halls of the Bologna exhibition centre in search of new trends and innovative, creative ideas.

Cir, the Romani Group brand which since 1967 has offered glazed porcelain stoneware solutions with high decorative impact for the residential market, will be among the protagonists of this international event and a spokesman for a new way of conceiving area settings. So, Stand B1-B4-B5 in Hall 16, furnished with green logic through collaboration with Green Habit, will become a showcase for the latest collections, the result of tireless work by the Research & Development Division and constant stylistic updates courtesy of the Style Office.

MAT will especially be the queen of collections on the stand. This ceramics series, inspired by the materiality of resin and cement and presented at Cersaie 2016 for the very first time, is an absolute novelty in the world of Cir, marking the opening of the company to new levels of design. As always characterised by research focussing on colours, surfaces and textures with strong visual impact, Cir selects ten neutral colours, designed to meet the needs of more sober interior design. New entries do not only involve the colour palette available, but also the range of sizes. With MAT, Cir for the first time explores the world of large formats, thus expanding an offer ranging from 80×80 cm to a 6.50×40 cm micro format.

In addition to MAT, the B1-B4-B5 stand in Hall 16 will house two collections bearing the Cir hallmark: Recupera, a porcelain stoneware tile which in a single collection combines all the beauty of terracotta, wood and hollow bricks and Havana, a ceramics collection which recalls the warmth, history and tradition of the Cuban capital through the intensity of colours and nuances denoting its surface finishes.

The latter will also be present at Cer-Sail-Italian Style Concept, the group exhibition which takes its cue from the classic ports and staged in Hall 30. In addition to Havana, contributing to the Cer-Sail project will also be Biarritz, the porcelain stoneware collection inspired by the sandy shores of this French resort, ROMA ’53, a ceramics series which revives the splendour of the mid-century Italian capital and New Orleans, a collection featuring a strong materiality developed between neutral and defined colours and vivid patterns.

Cir is awaiting visitors to Cersaie in Hall 16, stands B1-B4-B5.
