A year after establishing its presence in the USA, BMR increases its capacity by moving its branch to Crossville.

BMR’s determination to internationalise doesn’t stop here, after a year it moves its American headquarters from Dickson to Crossville, but still remaining in Tennessee, the American “ceramics valley”.

Following the success of the branch that opened in April 2016, BMR has responded to the increasing request for assistance by finding a location that meets both the need for extra space and being more centrally located. It has decided to relocate to the more dynamic Crossville, where it has increased its services for the American market, offering its expertise and professionalism by providing technical and commercial support that is always in direct contact with its customers.

In just a few years, Crossville, the capital of Cumberland County, has become the main point of reference for the largest ceramics companies that have relocated their American branches there in response to growing US demand for Made in Italy value.

From its new building located at 1896 East First Street, BMR handles the main orders for spare parts and manages its customers’ requests by providing focused and prompt advice, delivering the made in Italy quality that BMR has always guaranteed.

Among the innovations of the American branch, is the important role of the new squaring spindle reconditioning workshop. This significant development allows us to offer an important service that was previously difficult to provide because of prohibitive transport costs. Before long, BMR USA technicians will also be able to provide reconditioning services for lapping heads, thereby filling another service gap associated with distance and consequent costs.

This continuous progress has also allowed us to complete the order for Florim’s production site in Clarksville-Tennessee where BMR has recently installed a grinding line. This important investment consolidates the collaboration between the two Italian companies in terms of quality, efficiency, innovation and environmental sustainability.

BMR USA is consciously proud to play an important active part in the consolidation of an increasingly important “overseas ceramics district” that is destined to last and which is already a reference point for providing technologies and processes for local ceramics companies in accordance with the principles of energy and production efficiency that are the cornerstones of BMR’s ongoing research.
