HOB CERTEC was established in 1995 as a Czech-German joint-venture company in Horni Briza, Pilsen, Czech Republic in the traditional area with a historical ceramic and porcelain production and kaolin mining.

Since beginning HOB CERTEC faced the constant and significant growth, not just in terms of turnover, mainly in last 10 years continously investing into the new machinary, in research and development, introducing many new innovative roller types to the ceramic market.

The HOB CERTEC production facility is one of its kind, using the most efficient method for the production, based on the constant improvement of the work processes as Kaizen and Refa. HOB CERTEC is certified by ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, ISO 14001:2015.

HOB CERTEC improves its position throughout the years with the sales net in all the most important ceramic markets. In 2023 opened the new distribution center for US market in state of Delaware, in order to be more flexible with overseas deliveries for US clients.

After almost 30 years of its existence HOB CERTEC became in 2023 the largest european producer, producing 100% of all the rollers in Czech facility in Horni Briza, close to Pilsen

HOB CERTEC offers a complete range of ceramic rollers in wide range of the diameters and lengths for all kind of tile production. Small sizes to largest slabs of 1800×3600 mm with continuous presses. From the standard rollers to high tech rollers and special shaped rollers for specific usage, improving the tile production and offering the highly qualified technical consultation.

HOB CERTEC supplies the best technical solution for each single client and a specific dotation of each kiln based on the client´s requirements.

HOB CERTEC is presenting the new type of special type of the roller improving a planarity issues:
NEW SUPERRINGROLL IQ
A technical corrundum-mullite roller developed to withstand high thermo-mechanical stress,to be installed from the last 2 modules of main firing zone up to the end of 2nd module of rapid cooling zone.
To improve the planarity issues of tiles such as:
„hook“ or „roller“ effect on the tiles caused by the disproportional roller diameter with thin wall thickness of tiles f.e. 3-6 mm and/or by the excessive plasticity of the tiles with the standard thickness in the main firing zone, especially in case of polished or „lappato“ surfaces.
Improving significantly the output of first choice tiles by limited contact of tiles with the roller surface to only 13%.

This extremely strong roller has been designed to withstand the most extreme loads for charging the maximum width of kiln channels with tiles in order to use their production capacity with maximum efficiency. Thanks to its very low porosity the roller is very well resistant to aggressive chemical attack.

Universal Intelligent solution for production of all kinds of Quality tiles in terms of planarity, straight trajectory in the kiln, reduction of defects and deformations.
HYPERROLL NG
Unique strong roller in the market which stands out thanks to its excellent thermal shock resistance. This roller has been designed to withstand the thermal shock when pulling out at maximum working temperature and thanks to its hard surface, it is possible to clean it more times than other rollers in the market.
HYPERROLL X
The extra strong technical roller developed to withstand the heaviest loads in the main firing zone, especially in the case of long and heavy rollers use.
HYPERROLL D
The introduction of this roller has created a revolution within the ceramic rollers market.It is the only ceramic roller with zero porosity and due to this, it has extra high modulus of elasticity and is extremely resistant against chemical attack.
